Be more. than basketball.

The Be More Foundation is the non-profit arm behind Top Performance Basketball. Three pillars: character development, access, and impact. Built so no Tri-Valley kid is turned away from the game because of cost.

— The Three Pillars

How we measure
"better people."

01 Pillar 01

Character.

Confidence, discipline, resilience — coached on every rep, in every huddle, by every staff member. The kid your son or daughter becomes off the court is the one who'll lead on it.

  • Captain & mentor pathways
  • Community service days
  • Coach standards training
02 Pillar 02

Access.

No family is turned away for financial reasons. Through the Be More Foundation we offer need-based scholarships and flexible payment plans for every program — Rising Stars, Spring Session, Pay-as-You-Go — all of it.

  • Need-based scholarships
  • Flexible payment plans
  • Sibling & multi-program discounts
03 Pillar 03

Impact.

The Tri-Valley basketball ecosystem is stronger when our players, their families, and the communities we practice in are all better off. We measure success by who our kids become — and by who they help next.

  • Open gyms & alumni nights
  • Local school partnerships
  • Player-mentor pipeline
— The Story

Why we
built this.

Top Performance Basketball was founded in 2017 with a clear mission: develop better people, not just better players. As the program grew, the founders realized something else: the families who needed character development through basketball the most were sometimes the ones least able to afford competitive youth sports.

The Be More Foundation exists to close that gap. To make sure that every kid in the Tri-Valley — regardless of family income, background, or circumstance — has access to high-quality coaching, structured competition, and a community that believes in them.

— Foundation FAQ

Common
questions.

Who qualifies for a scholarship? +

Any Tri-Valley family that needs help making a TPB program work financially. We don't have a strict income cutoff — we handle each conversation one-on-one and work to find a level of support that fits.

Is the conversation confidential? +

Yes. Always. Scholarship status is never shared with coaches, teammates, or other parents. Your athlete shows up to the same practice, in the same jersey, with the same expectations as every other kid in the program.

Are donations tax-deductible? +

[ Editable — fill in based on your 501(c)(3) status. If yes: "Yes — the Be More Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit; your donation is tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. Tax receipts emailed within 24 hours." ]

Where does my donation go? +

Direct scholarship support, equipment for athletes who can't afford it, and program fees for families who need flexibility. [ Editable — add a percentage breakdown when you have one (e.g., "92% of every dollar goes directly to athletes"). ]
