Summer Session

SUMMER Session Overview

Join our 8-week (June 30 - August 24, 2025) Summer Session at Top Performance Basketball. We provide players with a unique combination of individual/team skills development through creative and intense practices. Players also have opportunities to compete and apply skills in high-level tournaments.

Registration Deadline

Register before June 24, 2025.

Tryouts

Tryouts will take place between June 15 - 24. If space is available, late tryouts will take place week of June 30th.

Current Players

CURRENT PLAYERS = Players currently on a Spring B team with Top Performance Basketball.

Step 1 - Register for Summer Session

Use the link on the right to register. ALL current players MUST register to be considered for placement on a team.

Step 2 - Continue to attend current team practices

Note: You do not need to attend Skills Workouts.

Step 3 - Team Placements

Team placements will be finalized by our Program Director by June 27. An email will be sent to players who have made a team with the associated costs. You'll have access to the team page on the Crossbar app (once you download on your phone) with practice schedules, etc. Team practices start March 3rd week.

New Players

NEW PLAYER = Players not part of the current TPB session.

Step 1 - Register

Use link on the right to register for 2025 Summer Session.

Step 2 - Sign up for a Skills Workout

Skills Workouts (90 minutes) focus on individual skills such as ball-handling, shooting, defense and finishing moves, etc. These Skills Workouts will be used for to evaluate the player and their skills for team placements evaluations. At the end of the Spring Registration, it will ask you to pay for a Skills Workout select "I will pay for a Skills Workout using the Pay As You Go - Workout link".

  • $20 - Grade 4th - 5th
  • $25 - Grade 6th - 8th
  • $30 - Grade 9th - 12th

Step 3 - Attend a Skills Workout

After you have registered, click on the Pay As You Go Skills Workout link to select the corresponding workout for the players grade. Parents may stay to watch the workout but not required.

NOTE: Attend as many skills workouts as possible. This helps coaches better evaluate for team placement.

Items to bring:

  1. Basketball
  2. Water/hydration beverage
  3. Wear Basketball shoes and athletic gear

Step 4 - Team Placement

Attendance at a Skills Workout is used to gauge skills, basketball knowledge, and coachability. Coaches will evaluate and make recommendations to the Program Director. Team placements will be finalized by our Program Director on 6/27/2025. An email will be sent to players who have made a team with the associated costs. You'll have access to the team page on the Crossbar app (once downloaded) with practice schedules, etc. Team practices start June 30th week.

WORKOUT SCHEDULE and LOCATIONS

Find the workout that matches the player's grade in Fall 2025, and attend that session.

For example, if the player will be in Grade 6, look for the session labeled GRD6WO.

For Girls workouts 4th grade through 6th grade, use the GRLES for elementary school and GRLMS for middle school.

Use the button to select the date and pay for an upcoming Skills Workout.

Practices

Practices are one to three times per week, depending on which team you are placed. These practices focus on team and individual skills. Check the schedule below to see previous session practice schedules. Practice schedules will be similar, but as of right now, practice schedules are TBD.

Tournaments

Tournaments/Games are typically only on Saturdays. There are some two-day tournaments which are Sat/Sun. Tournament dates are provided at the beginning of the session. Number of tournaments is dependent on team. Tournament locations are within 1 hour drive from Tri-Valley area.


COSTS: Vary for each team. Go to the tryouts and see which team you make. If you make a team, the session costs, practice and tournament schedules, etc. will be provided. No commitment needed until first week of practices.
